Earth Day

This Friday is World Earth Day!

Planting trees is one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C. They give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilise the soil and give life to the world’s wildlife.

Each year on the 22nd April, people across the globe join together to

drive positive action for our planet. Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970.

Today, around 1 billion people across the world take part to demonstrate support for environmental protection, and highlight how we can take action.

To celebrate, we have partnered with Sapling to plant as many trees as possible.

From today until Sunday, every time someone orders an ‘Earth Day Martini’ cocktail, Sapling will plant a tree. It’s that simple!

A little bit about Sapling Vodka

Made in the heart of London, Sapling Vodka uses local ingredients to reduce transport emissions.

Sapling vodka is four times distilled from 100% British wheat, with charcoal filtered, de-ionised water.

For every bottle of sapling vodka sold, a tree is planted. One tree can absorb up to 1.5 tonnes of carbon in its lifetime. Making a bottle of vodka emits about 2.5kg of carbon, so you could say each bottle of sapling pays back over 535 times. Essentially when you drink our vodka based cocktails, you’re helping to plant trees.
